Enter The Frame via Boon Edam Revolving Doors

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, March 2018 – Boon Edam Middle East recently saw 3 years of close collaboration come to fruition at the opening of the impressive UAE landmarked known as ‘The Dubai Frame’.

Welcome and Secure

Situated in Zabeel Park in Dubai, The Dubai Frame is expected to be a major tourist destination attracting two million people yearly to see the view of old and new Dubai from the top of the Frame.

Boon Edam Middle East first tendered for the Dubai Frame project, early 2015 and continued to work closely with the project’s façade contractor before securing the order for delivering the main entry, consisting of several 3-wing Tourniket revolving doors.

Winning Under Tight Time Pressure

After a quick approval process we were able to meet the tight programme deadlines, which required the installation of the revolving door entry to be carried out early in 2017. The spectacular Dubai Frame opened to the public at the beginning of 2018.

Part of an Iconic Concept

The Boon Edam doors provide an impressive entrance to a museum on the ground floor, showcasing Dubai's transformation from an old fishing village to the metropolis it is today. The architectural structure is positioned in such a way that representative landmarks of modern Dubai can be seen on one side, while from the other side, visitors can view older parts of the city.

The concept takes the visitors to a journey through time on three different levels: old Dubai, present Dubai and future Dubai.
